Extra April Fools and Brighton gigs; it's not worth going to jail over some bald pussy
I have so many Will Smith jokes, but it’s days late. Maybe I’ll write a nuanced essay later, but I hope this doesn’t mean that people are going to start thinking it’s OK to slap me if I say a joke they don’t like.
Just wanted to keep you updated on some exciting extra gig dates. I’ve added them to this post that has all my dates until the end of April, but here they are for your convenience:
Friday April 1st 7pm - Sam Rhodes’ Comedy Explosion, Bermondsey
April Fool special featuring the prolific musical MC.

Malt Bar, Maltby Street, London, SE1 3PA
Sunday April 3rd 3:30pm - G&B Abandoning The Comfort Zone, Kings Cross
I listed this before but I can now confirm that I’m going to be doing stand-up from the point of view of a dog, dressed as a dog with an animatronic tail. This isn’t a joke.
Star of Kings, 126 York Way, London N1 0AX
DATE CHANGE: Wednesday April 13th TBD - The Secret Comedy Club, BRIGHTON
Brighton fans, keep your diary clear for this evening.
Artista, 42 Waterloo St, Hove BN3 1AY

I can confirm that the whole series of Peacemaker (NOW TV) is very entertaining. The only really good stuff DC has done for years is James Gunn’s Suicide Squad and this spinoff, and the only reason he’s working for them is because Disney listened to a bunch of morons on Twitter who found some old jokes Gunn posted, and fired him.
A Broken Model of Brokenness - Freddie de Boer on mental illness as an identity
Idol Words - Scott Alexander writes the best short stories and this is one of his best
Check out Severance on Apple TV, a show about people who agree to undergo a brain operation that totally separates their work persona from their life outside work. File under corporate horror, alongside Thomas Ligotti’s My Work Is Not Yet Done.
