If you have Apple TV+, check out the documentary The Line about a bunch of Navy SEALs who have concerns about one of their senior officers. If you don’t remember how the case turned out, I suggest waiting until after you finish the series before Googling it since what goes down is literally cuckoo bonkers.
I had fun playing with the WOMBO Dream app which generates amazing digital art from your text input. The way it generates faces is usually pretty surreal and distorted, but it can do great landscapes and buildings. The ‘festive’ art style is a fun way to generate horrific scenes of Yuletide mayhem. Here is a Christmas market that has been destroyed by a giant slug:
