Don’t go to the Tower of London with kids until after Hallowe’en. They have a bunch of underemployed actors running some tacky ‘ghost hunt’ event, and they come and recruit kids to do it without asking. The result is that kids are distracted from the cool ancient history all around them by some tacky Nickelodeon bullshit, and my nephew was too scared to go into the White Tower.
You can go to Sky Garden up that ugly microphone building for free and get an amazing view of London. Booking in advance is required. Don’t bring any drugs or weapons since security is tight.
Go to Jokers & Queens at Groovie Grove Hammersmith this Friday to support women in comedy. The women’s game is actually more fun to watch, because their lack of raw power means they have to be more skilled than the men.
Goodbye.
