Just a quick note to say that the Only Fools Comedy show tonight (Monday June 6th) is CANCELLED because the Tube strike would have made it a nightmare to get to for everyone.
Sorry about that. It was a good line-up with some funny acts (as well as me). I think the plan is to try to run it later this month, and I will do it if I possibly can.
Solidarity with our comrades at the RMT who are correctly striking against cuts to their jobs and pensions.

The new Oregon Trail themed series of Miracle Workers is mid.
I finally got round to watching some Clone High and it hasn’t aged well. The comic beats seem fairly predictable now, which is unfair because it’s probably only because I’ve seen other shows that were influenced by it, or Lord and Miller’s later, more polished work. Vita longa, ars brevis.
I started watching the new Norm McDonald special but it’s just him doing jokes into a mic in a studio, with no crowd and nobody to play off. It didn’t seem like a fitting way for him to go out - I know there’s a bunch of tributes to him later in the ‘special’ but still. What Netflix should do is make a documentary about his life. Or adapt his heavily fictionalised ‘autobiography’ into a limited series. Cast Alden Ehrenreich as Young Norm. Do it you cowards
